abstract

performance of a supply chain highly depends on its suppliers and therefore, appropriate selection of them is of great importance. this paper presents an integrated model of an mcdm method and a mathematical programming in order to select suppliers and determine lot sizes in the supply chain. the proposed framework comprises two main sub-models; the qualitative sub-model seeks to evaluate the suppliers by means of technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (topsis). then, in the quantitative sub-model, a mixed integer nonlinear program is proposed in order to determine the optimal orders allocated to each supplier. fuzzy multi-objective method (th) is used to tackle complexity of the model. the most notable features of the proposed model is considering different quality levels and related defective rates as well as partial supplier switch. finally, to demonstrate applicability of the proposed model and superiority of the developed algorithm, several problem instances are generated and solved.

a mathemathical model for supplier selection and order allocation in a supply chain considering uncertainty in design variables- for print

abstract: in most industries the cost of raw materials and component parts constitutes almost 60% percent of cost of a product (in some industries up to 80%). in this situation, proper sourcing can play a key role in an organization's efficiency and effectiveness, because it has a direct effect on cost reduction, profitability and flexibility of a company. in this paper, determining the op...

A Supplier Selection Model for Social Responsible Supply Chain

Due to the importance of supplier selection issue in supply chain management (SCM) and ,also,  the increasing tendency of organizations to their social responsibilities, In this paper, we survey the supplier selection issue as a multi objective problem while considering the factor of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a mathematical parameter. The purpose of this paper is to design a mode...

A systematic review on supplier selection and order allocation problems

The supplier selection and order allocation are two key strategic decisions in purchasing problem. The review presented in this paper focuses on the supplier selection problems (SSP) and order allocation from year 2000 to 2017 in which a new structure and classification of the existing research streams and the different MCDM methods and mathematical models used for SSP will be presented. The re...
